Well, long story short, my laptop completely gave in. I have a mountain of work to catch up on but I don't think it's gonna be as bad as it looks. I did want to do an inspiration post but I'll save that for next time coz I have a backlog of ootd posts.
This look is from when my bff came down for the weekend. She said I looked real cute so. It was a really good weekend though, we've made a promise to make more plans so I can't wait to hang out again soon.
This is kind of a summary of 80% of my outfits right now - it's all bodycon skirts and loose sweaters. I just think it looks cool on everyone.
This is from last week when I went down to visit my Mom. I was only supposed to be down for the day but I ended up staying home for a few days because free food and also we ordered me a new laptop (it's my early Christmas present). As you can see I ventured away from loose sweaters and bodycon skirts to cropped sweater and a-line skirt which is... my other default... haha.
This one was when I was supposed to be meeting with a friend in town but my phone sort of ruined all the plans by dying on me early. I did shop around a little for a winter coat and I found a really cute one but the smallest size was a 12 so it looked really silly on me. I'm still going to hunt for one because as much as I like my biker leather it really doesn't go with everything and I just don't know what to do on my sweet days... They were doing student discount for the day though so I bought myself a new outfit instead...
bonus hair and make - i didn't have a lot of my usual make-up with me so i had to borrow some from my mom which was interesting. but i did have heat styling so hooray for cute curls.

I really like the dark lip trend that's been surfacing in neogal and also seeping into some oneegal looks so I decided to try it out. I don't have pretty lush lips naturally so I'm always really nervous about wearing striking lip colours. But I think I might try it a little more this winter. Dramatic lips are definitely best for the cold seasons, imo. I really love this whole outfit. The skirt especially is so cute. I like the way it has a really solid flare without a petti or anything like that. I feel sort of like an anime character, haha.
Life update wise: I have a new and working laptop now!! I've never had like... a brand new laptop so it's been like wow what the hell, this thing works really well, it's really fast????? what. Also I am more or less on winter break now, yay!! I've got some work to hand in but apart from that, no more lectures. I think Christmas might be kind of busy, I have plans with some friends so... it's gonna be cool. I hope?? Yeah.
Anddd, my girlfriend will be over tomorrow so I'm excited about that. It's been like over a month since I saw her last.
