✿ spring time ✿

It's finally starting to feel like spring over here.

It's finally getting warm enough that I can start breaking out the spring/summer wardrobe. I'm super excited! Although I feel like it needs a revamp, but I'll talk more about that later.

Back to my onee roots when hanging out with a friend! I've been experimenting with a lot of other styles, some that are cuter or sexier than usual but I feel like onee will probably be a constant for me. Onee is very effortlessly cool and sexy to me so I just like it for the days when I don't feel like going all out. I've waved bye bye to my grey lenses since they're at the end of their usage now (╯︵╰,) I have loved them very dearly though and will probably replace them ASAP. I'd really like a pair of the Apple Green too. So, this is the last picture of me with princess mimi lenses in for a while now!

This is a sucky webcam photo but I really liked my make up. My eyebrows look hella♪ I've changed up my eyebrow routine a little lately. I started trimming them too so that they are much easier to tame and neater looking when I fill them in. My eyebrows look really little and thin without make up now though, haha. I may experiment with eyebrow mascara soon. I've thought about bleaching them but that mostly depends on whether or not I keep my hair blonde. I'm wearing my trusty Vassen pink lenses here. I've been wearing them more and more lately because I just don't feel like my make up looks right without circle lenses. Also they add a touch of extra cuteness when doing sparkly, princessy make up.

This picture is from last week when I went to an induction session for a beauty apprenticeship I'd applied for! I felt like going for romantic, floral himekaji styling because it was really starting to feel like spring out. I had super tight princess curls too! The session went pretty well and I got a call back about one definite interview at the end of the month and another one possibly lined up. So I'm pretty excited and keeping everything crossed that I manage to ace it!

A lot of my recent looks are very himekaji or onee inspired which isn't to say I'm entirely done experimenting with other styles but I think they'll end up being my staple styles this spring and summer. I've been looking to revamp my wardrobe, mostly starting with shoes and bags because I'm in dire need of more shoes and bags that co-ordinate well with more of my wardrobe. Also I'm thinking about doing a major clearout soon because I feel like a lot of what I own currently isn't as mature or feminine as I'd like it to be.

current style icons

Sayoko Ozaki
(more like an always style icon to me)

Yui Minemura

Yuria Kushido
(it was so hard even picking an example pic because Yuria always looks out of this world cool)

I also saw this picture of Manya floating around and I just love her hair colour.

So darker hair may be in my future.

Anyway, that's all on style and almost life. The last thing I have to share are these cute photos.

I made easter cupcakes with my little sister today! I haven't done any baking in a while so it was nice. I also secretly like playing cool onee-chan (●ゝω・)~☆ Decorating the cakes was fun too! I made lots of little nests for the mini eggs but I kinda like this one that's covered in flowers the best.

Well that's all from me for now. Hopefully I'll have some even cuter things to show you in the future.
